ON-DEMAND WEBINAR

You can't fix what you can't see.

Every practice has a revenue cycle black hole. You can’t see it, but you feel its pull through claims that stall, staff who scramble, cash that arrives late or not at all.

And the reason it’s so hard to see?

Revenue Cycle Solutions and Ascend Solutions have spent years answering that exact question, and the data is clear:

Nearly ¾ of the complexity that puts revenue at risk starts in patient registration, authorizations, benefit verification, documentation, and coding, long before a claim ever reaches a biller.

Whether you bill in-house or outsource, this session will help you:

  • Pinpoint where revenue cycle complexity actually starts in your practice
  • Quantify the time cost of that complexity
  • Use data and AI automation to optimize processes and drive better outcomes

Can’t make it live? Register anyway, and we’ll send you the recording.

He frequently speaks on AI, automation, EMR innovation, and Technology in the future of outpatient rehabilitation, with a passion for helping clinicians spend less time managing software and more time focused on patient care.

Bob Kowalick, PT, has spent his career solving one problem: what keeps physical therapy practices from becoming financially stable, scalable businesses. He spent his first seven years as a therapist in a hospital system, then built a private practice from a single startup location and two employees to seven locations and 150 employees in five years. After 10 years of owning the practice, Bob exited in a strategic sale to a public PT consolidator. From there, he set out to help other owners build that same financial success he had, founding Revenue Cycle Solutions (“RCS”) to serve practices through Revenue Cycle Management (“RCM”) services. As it became clear that Revenue Cycle Complexity (“RCC”) was the single biggest determinant of RCM success and the biggest barrier to a practice’s financial stability and scalability, Bob founded Ascend Solutions, a time-analytics data platform created to quantify the origin, nature, and severity of revenue risks impacting practices. After 8 years of capturing RCC data at its origin and quantifying its impact on administrative time, Ascend now supports both practices that keep billing in-house and other RCM companies that serve them by providing the foundation layer for solving the RCC problem that exists in every practice. Bob and his companies uniquely sit on both sides of the “in-house vs outsource” fence. Bob’s thesis for what comes next is simple: as AI reshapes RCM, the practices that win will be the ones that own their own data, capture the knowledge their team builds every day, and turn it into intellectual property that improves the financial outcomes and scalability of their business. Today, Bob’s purpose is to help practice owners strategically prepare for the inevitable industry-changing impacts of AI to come.
