Our Story
Our founders have dedicated their careers to healthcare, driven by a passion for building technology that enhances both the clinician experience and patient outcomes. This mission became deeply personal for our CEO during his own journey through physical therapy. After sustaining an injury, he experienced firsthand the dedication and expertise of his physical therapist, whose care was instrumental in his recovery. He also witnessed the frustration his therapist experienced with trying to balance his focus on patient care while struggling through the burden of taking notes and navigating an outdated, inefficient EMR system – clunky workflows, excessive administrative tasks, and a system that often got in the way rather than helped.
As he continued his recovery, he heard similar complaints from other therapists—stories of burnout, long hours spent charting after work, and a lack of tools designed with their needs in mind. It became clear that these dedicated professionals, whose passion was to help others heal, were being let down by the very technology meant to support them. That realization sparked a conviction: something had to change.
With that vision in mind, Stride was founded—to create a modern, intuitive EMR system that empowers therapists rather than hinders them, allowing them to focus on what matters most: delivering exceptional care.
